Labor Day in Prescott, AZ
Labor Day is upon us and Prescott Arizona has many things to do over the holiday that includes an arts and crafts show, hiking, picnicing and more.
The Faire on the Square Arts & Crafts Show will be held in historic downtown Prescott September 3rd thru the 5th. With over 125 vendors we are sure that you will find this an enjoyable experience. While your downtown experience Whiskey Row as it has a large number of Saloons, art galleries and candy shops.
Whiskey Row. Whiskey row dates back to 1864 and was visited by many well-known figures of that time, including Doc Holliday and the Earp brothers. Destroyed in the fire, but restored, today Whiskey Row stands as a monument to the past. From mining to the Indian wars of the late 1800’s, Prescott AZ was the very center of activity and commerce in the region.
